17: Applied Brachytherapy
Brachytherapy has a myriad of clinical uses, but the development of easier, faster and at times more effective treatment techniques using external beam treatments have relegated it to specific clinical scenarios. A radiation oncologist with skills in brachytherapy may be able to avoid some of the situations that arise with the use of less invasive treatments.
