Renal Malignancy

Renal cell carcinomas arise from the tubules that run from the glomerulus to the calyces. Other tumours may arise within the kidney from other cellular components.

The most common tumours in the kidney are:

  • Renal cell carcinoma (mostly clear cell carcinoma)
  • Benign tumours (epithelial and/or stromal)
  • Other carcinomas
  • Sarcoma
