3: Vulval Malignancy

Vulval malignancies are uncommon and make up 5% of gynaecological malignancies in the West. The most common (>90%) is squamous cell carcinoma of the vulva. Multi-modality therapy has become the mainstay of treatment for advanced cases; surgical intervention is suitable for stage I-II disease.
