History

Common presentations are:

  • Postmenopausal or abnormal vaginal bleeding

Examination


Imaging

Ultrasound allows determination of the size of the uterus and thickness of the endometrium and is an excellent initial investigation. It also allows assessment of the ovaries.
Following hysteroscopy + D&C full staging with CT/MRI is performed for full staging; MRI allows determination of local disease extent.


Histological Diagnosis

Diagnosis is made at hysteroscopy + D&C.
