J: Haematology
Haematological malignancies are relatively uncommon and are usually managed by haematologists. Systemic cytotoxic therapy and targeted therapies play a major role in the treatment of these diseases. Radiotherapy used to be a major treatment in many of these malignancies, but is falling into disuse.
