Extrahepatic Bile Duct Cancer

The extrahepatic bile ducts include the right and left hepatic ducts, the cystic duct, and the common bile duct. They drain bile from the liver, to and from the gallbladder, and to the duodenum via the pancreas. This system is essential for the normal function of the liver (and the pancreas for the most distal portion).
