1.2 - Linac Energies
The Varian linacs at my department are capable of producing the following beam energies:
- Photons
- 6 MV
- 18 MV
- Electrons
- 6 MeV
- 9 MeV
- 12 MeV
- 16 MeV
- 20 MeV
Other linear accelerators
Photon energies from 4 MV to 20 MV may be generated in some linear accelerators. Electron energies of 4 MeV to 25 MeV are also possible.
