I don't believe that Tasmania has any registrars, so it doesn't fit … it just floats below Australia!

Any chance of editorial privileges?

I'm really just posting this here so the forum has something to look at.

I'm currently a registrar in Canberra, sitting my Phase I exam in November now that everything has been cleared to do so.

Canberra has four registrar positions and is accredited for 5 years of training (the full course). As part of the Southern Network, it is expected that at least one year (and possibly more) will be spent outside of Canberra Hospital, either in Sydney or Wollongong.

We have:

Seven radiation oncologists and one locum specialist

Three linear accelerators, with a fourth being installed next year.

IMRT is not used in Canberra at this stage but the machines are capable of it once the necessary physics work is done

We use Pinnacle3 for treatment planning

A brachytherapy suite

Currently only doing intracavity gynaecological brachytherapy with HDR (192Ir), but expanding in a few months to include HDR prostate brachytherapy. The goal is to start performing LDR seed implants for prostate cancer next year.

A superficial x-ray unit (100 keV)

A new, modern building

The downside? All the carparks in the hospital were recently knocked down, but the new 8 story building (will be one of the larger buildings in Canberra when complete) is scheduled to open later this year. There is dedicated medical staff parking very close to the radiation oncology department.
